I am trying to get this blog set up and I am unsure how to really go about it. Try is almost m middle name though to I am going to try. I have just returned from an 8 day stay at the local hospital and thank goodness I am feeling much better than when I went in. I also went on a cruise to Alaska on the 28th of August returning on the 9th of September and at a meeting that same evening they informed us that we were going to have to evacuate from our apartments because of hurricane IKE so I made a mad dash to the telephone and made reservations to go to Rochester, NY to be with Larry's sister and nephew who live there. I was there until the 27th of September and came back to home and on the 29th I went into the hospital for an 8 day stay. I am so glad to be home and back in my own bed and surroundings. I am gradually getting a bit stronger. Today I walked down to the corner of the building and back to my door and intend to do it once again before I get ready for bed tonight. I did not go to Church today, I was just too tired. I do plan to go to the volunteer job on Wednesday if I feel like it. They don't really want me to b out in among people where I might catch the flu. I haven't felt like taking the flu or pneumonia shot yet so I may defer to at least being gone another week. I of course would like to hear from any of you that are interested in keeping up with me. God Bless Jody
